Mutated Events: All Rewards from Mutated (Party) Packages

Mutated Events: All Rewards from Mutated (Party) Packages

[Update 25th Nov 2025] Mutated Packs Rewards List updated

New variations of public events can be tested on the current PTS (December 2022). These are extended versions of the well-known public events.

As more information becomes available, this post will be updated.

What are mutated events?

The main change is that the enemies in the event have a mutation. You already know the mutation from the daily ops.
Furthermore, the mutated events take place once on the hour , in between normal public events continue to take place.
From 28.02. - 21.03.2023 there is a mutated event with random mutation every full hour , after that there is a week without mutations, after that there is a weekly change .

The following events can currently spawn as mutated events:

  • One violent night
  • Line in the Sand
  • Test your metal
  • Heart of the Swamp
  • Lore Baring
  • Guided Meditation
  • Eviction Notice
  • Moonshine Jamoree
  • Swarm of suitors
  • Uranium Fever

As in daily operations, the following mutations can be applied:

  • Explosive : Enemies explode when they die.
  • Active Cloak : Enemies are cloaked when not attacking.
  • Resilent : Enemies can only be killed by a melee attack. (Here you can work with melee weapons or just hit with the butt.
  • Icy Touch : Enemy attacks freeze players.
  • Toxic : Enemies leave behind a cloud of poison upon death
  • Regenerating: Enemies emit an aura that heals other nearby enemies.
  • Swift : Enemies have increased movement speed.
  • Reflective:  Enemies periodically enter the reflective state, reflecting a portion of the damage dealt. (5 seconds)
See: PTS: New Enemies Mutation: Reflective / Reflective in Daily Ops and Mutant Events

Additional rewards at Mutated Events

The rewards have been expanded here. In addition to the normal rewards, you will receive:

  • A "Mutated Party Pack" or "Mutated Package"
  • Legendary items
  • treasury notes
  • Ability to create infusions (see below)

What are Mutated Party Pack and Mutated Package?

You get the Mutated Package by completing a mutated event. The chance of plans when opening is 10% here .

You can get the Mutated Party Pack by completing a mutated event with at least 3 Fallout 1st subscribers. Regardless of whether you have Fallout 1st yourself. The chance of plans when opening is 50% here .

Both are containers that also hold Holiday Scorched Gifts, Treasurehunter Pails, or Spooky Scorched Gift Bags.

At double mutation events you will receive a double mutated package (20% chance of blueprints) or (if at least 3 Fallout 1st subscribers are in the event) a double mutated party pack (100% chance of blueprints).

What new blueprints are in the mutant events?

At the front of each row is the drop chance for Mutated Party Packs (Fallout 1st) and Mutated Packages (no 1st packs). As you know, you will receive Mutated Party Packs with better drop chances if at least 3 Fallout 1st members participate in the event. All participants of the event will then receive this packs, no matter if they are 1st subscribers or not.

Note for better Drop Chances

Dataminer Gilpo pointed out in a discussion about the drop chances that the drop chances for the rare and ultra-rare rewards improve every time you learn a blueprint or recipe, as this plan will then no longer be selected as a reward for you. However, you should leave at least one plan unlearned per list, otherwise all the rewards will be thrown into the pot again and you will have significantly worse chances of getting the rare clothing, for example. This way you can increase your chances of getting the rare clothing to up to 1.38% drop chance.

What are infusions?

Infusions are a new utility introduced on the current PTS. Infusions can be crafted at the lab workbench under the new Infusions item.

  • Infusions have a powerful effect for a short time
  • Each infusion has several levels, each increasing the strength of the effect and the duration
  • Unlock higher infusion tiers by completing Lifetime Challenges for Mutated Events. The more you complete, the more stages will be unlocked

Infusion effects:

There are currently 2 different infusions:

  • Steel-Skin Infusion : Gain the effect of wearing power armor for a few minutes
  • Healing Cloud Infusion : Send out a healing cloud that heals itself and nearby friendly players for several minutes
  • Not yet operational on the PTS: Fiery Infusions (are visible in the game files but not on the PTS)

You unlock the production of infusions and higher infusion levels via world challenges :

  • Complete 2 Mutated Events: Healing Cloud Infusion Level 1
  • Complete 5 Mutated Events: Steel-Skin Infusion Level 1
  • Complete 10 Mutated Events: Healing Cloud Infusion Level 2
  • Complete 15 Mutated Events: Steel-Skin Infusion Level 2
  • Complete 20 Mutated Events: Healing Cloud Infusion Level 3
  • Complete 25 Mutated Events: Steel-Skin Infusion Level 3

Note : Infusions were removed on the PTS on 01/25/2023.

Examples of mutated events

Uranium Rush as a mutated event with explosive enemies:

Swarmed as a mutated event with swift opponents:

Conclusion

The mutated events are a good extension of the existing events and bring new momentum to the old content. Depending on the mutation, the events are now significantly more challenging than before. The new rewards for the blueprints, which have only rarely been seen up to now, are certainly a great incentive for most people to take part in the events and to complete them successfully. I'm already looking forward to the new challenges.
