Anglers are a possible mutation of anglerfish and frogs, sharing the "lure", a glowing fishing rod on their heads, and the upturned jaw of the former, and the limbs, proportions, and habitat of the latter.
Anglers are cryptids, although they don't appear in American folklore like most cryptids. Therefore, they also count toward the "Kill a Cryptid" challenge. Most importantly, they count toward the "Kill an Angler" challenge, which can be a daily or weekly challenge.
Anglers are primarily found in the Mire and Toxic Valley.
