Best Weather Conditions and Bait for Axolotl
Optimal weather conditions for catching axolotls are rain and the use of super baits. Super baits are currently only available in the season.
Weather conditions can be influenced via the weather control station in the camp.
Rain
Can be created with the following weather control stations:
- Snow
- Snow Aurora
- Thunderstorm
Nuke Zone / Rad Storm
Can be created with the following weather control stations:
- Mothman
- Nuke Zone
- Rad Storm
- Skyline Valley
You can set up your camp near the water in the respective region (depending on the month) and set up one of the weather monitoring stations there. This will give you the best chance of catching axolotls. Below you'll find a map with all the regions, including water sources and zones where camps aren't allowed. This will help you find the optimal spot.
