What`s awaiting us in Season 2?
Season 2 picks up directly where Season 1 left off. Lucy MacLean and the Ghoul (Cooper Howard) continue their search for Lucy's father, Hank, who has fled to New Vegas in power armor. The journey through the post-apocalyptic Mojave Desert and the dangerous city of New Vegas is the focus of the new season.
In New Vegas, the characters encounter familiar factions, iconic locations like the Lucky 38 Casino, and legendary creatures like Deathclaws—elements heavily inspired by Fallout: New Vegas. At the same time, the series remains accessible even to viewers unfamiliar with the games.

Relations to Fallout 76
The latest update for Fallout 76, "Burning Springs," was released on December 2nd 2025, and brings with it numerous parallels to the Fallout series.

- The Ghoul himself can now be found in the game. In certain locations, he guides players to the new "Burning Springs" region, specifically Highway Town. In Highway Town, he personally assigns bounty hunting missions to players. Players can undertake routine hunts or participate in public bounty hunt events open to all players in a world.
- The new "Burning Springs" region is a map expansion westward into the Ohio desert. While it's not New Vegas, the environment closely resembles the Mojave Desert.
- New weapon: The Ghoul Revolver has also arrived in Fallout 76. Players can earn it in the current Season 23 and customize it with several unique mods.
- Season 23's theme is "Blood x Rust," focusing primarily on the desert and Raiders.
- New Events: The new public event, "Gearin Up" involves protecting an armored Deathclaw. Deathclaws will also appear in Season 2 of the series. Whether they're armored remains to be seen.
- The second new public event is "Sinkhole Solutions" set in a sandstorm where players must drive off aggressive Radscorpions. The sandstorm setting is fitting for the Mojave Desert. Perhaps Lucy and the Ghoul will encounter Radscorpions there as well.
- The Atomic Wrangler Casino from Fallout New Vegas and the Prime Show will be released on 23rd Dec 2025 and was found with preview images earlier via Datamining here.
More about that: Burning Springs Update in December: Map Expansion Ohio, The Ghoul, 3 new Events, new Enemies etc.
