Floater: Find Floaters on these locations (with map)
Floaters are deadly, floating creatures brought to life through experiments with the FEV (Forced Evolutionary Virus), with origins dating back to the games Fallout and Fallout 2. Their gas-filled pus sacs allow them to hover above the ground. They reside in a dormant state underground near Super Mutants and can be identified by the rising gas bubbles.
There are three types of Floaters in Appalachia:
- Floater Flamer
- Floater Freezer
- Floater Gnasher
Some daily and weekly challenges require finding and defeating Floaters.
