Gulpers: Here is where to find them
Gulpers are the descendants of pre-war salamanders. They usually stay near water and usually sleep hanging from trees. In Appalachia, Gulpers reside in the mire and cranberry bog. They do not enter any buildings or climb stairs. They also have the ability to slowly regenerate their health.
There are several challenges in which you have to find Gulpers. Furthermore, Gulpers are interesting for carnivore builds even without the challenges, as you can cook peperoni rolls from the innards, which give you a significant carrying capacity boost.
Locations with Gulpers
The first and easiest location is the Gulper Lagoon. Here you will find 4 Gulper for your challenges or for peperoni rolls (Perk: Don't forget the butchers bounty under Perception).
Tip: You can get the recipe for peperoni rolls from Molly (Raider / Crater) from 88 caps as soon as you have increased your reputation with the raiders to "neighborly". Please check out: Wastelanders Plans at Raiders / Settlers listed by Vendors and Reputation / Gold Plans of all Factions

- You can always find two Gulpers north-west of Dyer Chemical
- Event: Moonshine Jamboree (at Sunday Brother's Cabin). Many waves of Gulpers spawn here
- 33.33% chance of Gulper spawns at treetops (Swamp)
- 25% chance of Gulper spawns at Pylon V-13
- 20% chance of Gulper spawns at Dolly Sods Campground
- 10% chance of Gulper spawns at Beckwith Farm
- There are also many random encounter locations and horde events where you can meet Gulpers.
