Mole Miner Spawns: All Locations incl Map
Mole Miners are a mutated form of human inhabiting the many caves, mines, and quarries of Appalachia. Trapped within their deteriorating suits, they attack anything they perceive as a threat.
At "The Rusty Pick" there is a unique Mole Miner known as the Purveyor Murmrgh, who sells random legendary weapons, armor, Vault Steel, and legendary modules.
The first Mole Miners appeared in Welch and were used for experiments by the Enclave's research division prior to its collapse in 2086.
The cause of their degeneration is unclear; it could be radiation, the toxic air of the Ash Heap, or both. However, the effect is severe enough that they cannot breathe normally without their "Filter-O-Matic" breathing apparatuses.
With the exception of the Purveyor, all Mole Miners are highly aggressive, wielding shotguns, assault rifles, rocket launchers, and improvised weapons against their foes. They also utilize mole rats equipped with landmines.
Up until 2102, they could also be found in the Lucky Hole Mine, though they were driven out by Mothman cultists in 2103.
By 2104, Mole Miners were serving the Ultracite Titan—a gigantic mole rat beneath the Ash Heap—and they also attack the Tunnel of Love at Nuka-World on Tour.
