In the "The Backwoods" update on March 3rd, 2026, some custom-named armor pieces were reworked, and new ones were added. These are mostly chest pieces of armor with special effects, obtainable only as rewards from specific events and quests. There are no sets of these armor pieces, and their legendary mods cannot be changed. Most are tradable.

[New] Rage

• Chest
• Type: Raider Armor
• Can drop as light, medium or heavy armor
• Level: 5 / 15 / 25 / 35 / 45

• Unique Effect:
  • You deal +1% damage when hit and take +1% damage, up to 100%. Stacks expire over time when not taking damage.
  • Stacks expire 1 stack every 30 seconds. Therefore, 100 stacks will expire after 50 minutes.
  • Stacks can be generated by damaging enemies or by inflicting damage yourself. For example, 100 shots at the ground with the thirst zapper (water pistol) are enough to build up stacks.
  • The stacks do count also if you haven't equipped Rage armor. There is a background mechanism.

[New] Bulwark

• Chest
• Type: Secret Service Armor
• Level: 40 / 50
• Tradeable
• Legendary Mods:
  • Assassin’s
  • Elementalist
  • Adamantium
• Unique Effect:
  • This armor weighs twice as much and provides 35% more protection.
• Event: Neurological Warfare (5% Drop Chance)

Trail Warden

• Chest
• Metal Armor
• Can drop as light, medium or heavy armor
• Level: 10 / 20 / 30 / 40 / 50
• Tradeable
• Legendary Mods:
  • Hunter’s
  • Perception
  • Thru-hiker's
• Unique Effect:
  • +50% Throwing Weapon Damage
  • This Bonus applies to Throwing Knifes, Tomahawk, Sheepsquatch Shard and Meat Cleaver.

  • Quest: Bureau of Tourism (100% Drop Chance)
  • Lode Baring Terminal
    (100% Drop Chance from 100 Claim Token from Event: Lore Baring)

Stand Fast

• Chest
• Type: Combat Armor
• Can drop as light, medium or heavy armor
• Level: 20 / 30 / 40 / 50
• Tradeable
• Legendary Mods:
  • Chameleon
  • Hardy
  • Sentinel’s
• Unique Effect:
  • Armor Increases up to +50 as Speed Increases.
  • The movement speed bonus limit is now 150%, this means you can increase your movement speed by 50% through perks and mods. At +50%, this armor also grants +50 damage resistance.

  • Quest Reward: Early Warning (100% Chance)

Silver Lining

• Chest
• Leather Armor
• Level: 1 / 5 / 10 / 20 / 30 / 40 / 50
• Can drop as light, medium or heavy armor
• Tradeable
• Legendary Mods:
  • Life Saving
  • Endurance
  • Belted
• Unique Effect:
  • Reflect 10% of damage.

  • Quest: Tentative Plans (100% Drop Chance)
  • Activity: Breach and Clear

Last Bastion

• Type: Urban Scout Armor
• Level: 40 / 50

• Unique Effect:
  • Accuracy Increases up to +35% as Health Decreases.
  • Accuracy: +35% at 5% HP, +25% at 20% HP, +1% at 80% HP, +0% at 100% HP

  • Quest: Officer on Deck (100% Drop Chance) 
  • Enclave Activities ("A real blast", "Bots on Parade" and "Dropped Connection"):
    • 5% Drop Chance (if Quest "One of us" is completed)

[New] Last Stand

• Type: Brotherhood Recon Armor
• Level: 40 / 50

• Legendary Mods:
  • Zealot’s

  • Reflex
• Unique Effect:
  • Gain 50% of your evade chance as Damage Reduction. You can no longer Evade.

  • Event: Seismic Activity (5% Drop Chance)

[New] Road Kill

• Left Arm
• Type: Trapper Armor
• Level: 15 / 25 / 35 / 45

• Unique Effect:
  • Eat animal corpses to restore life.
  • Therefore you will see the option "Eat Corpse" on dead animals, that you can active once on each.
