Royal Jelly: This is how you get royal jelly for the tadpole challenges easy
There are 2 types of royal jelly
- Royal Jelly as Food (consumable and usable for recipes)
Wiki: https://fallout.fandom.com/wiki/Royal_jelly_(consumable) - Royal Jelly as Junk (can only be scrapped into glass and antiseptic)
Wiki: https://fallout.fandom.com/wiki/Royal_jelly_(junk)
The "Scrap Royal Jelly" drops from Honeybeasts, and you can find one next to a motorcycle on the highway southwest of Grafton Train Station.
What you are looking for is the consumable Royal Jelly. You can use this to cook "Blackberry Honey Crisp" ( wiki ) for the Tadpole Cooking Challenge . You can find him in the following locations in Appalachia and in your CAMP. The locations listed have a 50% spawn rate for Royal Jelly. It is therefore possible that in one place or another there is none to be found. Then, of course, changing the server helps.
This is how you find royal jelly in Appalachia
Middle Mountain Pitstop
Even before patch 44 you could find Royal Jelly here. However, there is now a fence behind the hut where the basket with the Royal Jelly lay. You can now find the Royal Jelly under the table that is on the western wall by the flag.
Bed & Breakfast
Here you will find 3x Royal Jelly in different rooms. One is in the kitchen.
Tanagra Town
The 5th Royal Jelly in Appalachia can be found in Tanagra Town. At the top, really at the top of half a floor in a bathtub.
If you now want to farm more than these 5 at the locations shown, you must empty your loot list and loot 255 items so that these feed juices spawn for you again.
Royal Jelly from the collectron
To farm Royal Jelly from the collectron you need the Fasnacht collectron . In addition to sweets such as sugar bombs (with RAD, can be used for brain bombs), this also collects Royal Jelly by 6.25% chance. Empty your collectron container regularly to have more chances of Royal Jelly.
Tip: Use any other collectron and switch it to "Fasnacht Treats" at the terminal. The singing of the Fasnacht Kollektron can get a bit annoying.
