Squirrel Spawns: All Locations incl Map
For players with the "Carnivore" mutation, squirrels are highly popular for the additional XP bonus provided by Tasty Squirrel Stew.
Squirrels are very rarely found outside of events; you can count the spawn points across all of Appalachia on the fingers of two hands. Farming them requires a great amount of server hopping. The best approach is to farm squirrels during the "Meat Week" and "Fasnacht" events and stockpile the cooked meat — for instance, in a cryo freezer or on a dedicated storage character (ideally one equipped with the "Good with Salt" perk).
Squirrel Locations
- You can find 5 squirrels starting from the Whitespring Bunker Service Entrance (next to the building) and moving from the entrance toward the laundry area
(server hopping is worth it here) - You can find one north of the 98 NAR Regional
- One spawns at Rollins Labor Camp
- 2 squirrels can spawn at Green Country Lodge
- Sunset Superior Farm
- Watoga Underground (instance)
