Unique Weapons: all new effects and sources

Unique Weapons: all new effects and sources
DataminingInsider
Contains Checklists

Patch 70, releasing alongside Season 26 in September 2026, introduces numerous changes to unique weapons. All 96 of these weapons have been reworked, receiving new effects and new drop sources. The current changes are still on the PTS and not yet live available.

Legendary mods can be modified

It isn't just the effects and sources that have changed; their utility has also been significantly expanded. All unique weapons and armor pieces can now be modded—including their legendary mods. This allows you to utilize a weapon's unique effect while equipping your favorite mods. However, this process comes at a cost.

Costs for modifying unique weapons:

  • 1st Star: 500 Legendary Scrip
  • 2nd Star: 500 Legendary Scrip
  • 3rd Star: 500 Legendary Scrip
  • 4th Star: 1000 Legendary Scrip

Costs for crafting unique weapons:

  • 30–65 Legendary Modules
    • Obtained via various events, Expeditions, and from the Legendary Vendor at The Rusty Pick
  • 40–85 Vault Steel
    • Obtained at The Rusty Pick in exchange for Legendary Scrip:
1 Vault Steel Scrap = 10 Legendary Scrip
Max 500 Vault Steel Scrap each

All 96 unique weapons

To help you filter and search more effectively, a search function and a drop-source filter have been added above this list. This makes it easier to navigate and look up what has changed. You can have a closer look at the drop sources by clicking the buttons each. Older articles will be updated within the next patch with new items.

Any ideas for builds?

Do you already have ideas for new builds using these unique effects and your preferred legendary effects? How do you plan to use these unique weapons after the update? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments.

Does anyone know if the pre-patch versions of the named weapons above will also get the base damage changes, or if it's just new drops of those weapons? Because if new drops are going up and base dmg on pre-patch weapons is staying the same, I'm going to be sitting on a pile of junk 1 23.08.2026 at 20:56:10

I run a weird junkie's crippling bleed build right now. My main gun is a junkie's, rapid, vats optimized, tarnished handmade (used to be elders mark until i learned it won't work as effectively as my DPS gun with my non-onslaught crippling build after the update since it won't have the cursed effect). My secondary is a cursed harpoon gun(w/flechettes). I run all crippling perks but I also run the wound salter perk. So for bosses right now, I hit them once with that to inflict bleed and switch back to my main (not for robots). So I'll just switch to shattered grounds after the update and call it done. Maybe carry a crowd control for funsies. I've been running wound salter perk and this loadout since meat week to try to test bleed damage stuff without having to deal with the PTS, heh. 0 25.08.2026 at 19:10:14

Is there additional info on the armor? I know there are less named armor pieces, I just wanted to see the hidden effects. 0 09.09.2026 at 03:16:47
