Abbreviations for legendary weapons and armor
In the community, abbreviations are always used for builds and in trade so that the complete perks do not have to be written out. This can be confusing at first. Here is a list of legendary shortcuts to help you get better at using the shortcuts.

| CAV | 75% chance to reduce damage by 15% while sprinting |
| 15B | Reduces damage while blocking by 15% |
| 50F | Falling damage reduced by 50% |
| SAFE | Increases size of sweet spot while picking locks |
| DOC | Stimpacks, RadAway and Rad-X are 5% more effective |
| FIRE / BURN | 5% chance to deal 100 fire damage to melee attackers |
| ENERGY / ELEC | 5% chance to deal 100 energy damage to melee attackers |
| FROST / FRZ | 5% chance to deal 100 frost damage to melee attackers |
| POISON / TOX | 5% chance to deal 100 poison damage to melee attackers |
| REG | Slowly regen radiation damage while not in combat |
