Asbestos: Here is how to find it for the Challenges
In Fallout 76 we regularly receive the daily or weekly challenge to extract asbestos from junk. To do this, you need scrap items that contain asbestos and then have to disassemble them. For many types of scrap, this can be done with craftable bulks, that you disassemble again. However, asbestos cannot be produced crafted in bulk.
Buy Bulk
One option is to visit the vendors in the Whitespring Mall and buy bulks of asbestos that you can disassemble. However, asbestos is not always available there either. Of course, changing servers can help here.

The other option is to collect junk and disassemble it. You should know what contains asbestos:

- Catch the Commie Board Game: 4x at Janet's Soft Serve (East of Tyler County)
- Chalk: Morgentown High School, Watoga High School
- Cigarette Carton: 9x Sugar Grove, drop site V9
- Coffee pots: 6x Morgantown depot, 4x Charleston Herald Building
- Extinguisher: 10x Grafton, 5x Blackwater Mine
- Luxobrew coffee pot: 3x Garrahan Mining Headquarters
- Oven Mitt: 2x Morgantown High School, Whitespring Golf Club
- Pack of Cigarette: 12x Sugar Grove
- Rat poison: 5x Kanawha Country Cemetery

There are a lot more, too much to list all. These should be more than enough to complete the challenges.
Tip: Cigarettes / packs / cartons
At the drop site V9 (Event: Scorched Earth) you will find a lot of cigarette packs and cartons with asbestos in the bunker for the challenges.
