Finally a sign of life from Fallout 76. Yesterday, June 11th, 2023, a new expansion for Fallout 76 was presented at the Xbox Showcase: Atlantic City
Unfortunately, no concrete date was mentioned here, just "Coming Soon".
When is Atlantic City coming?
Season 12 is not over yet. June 13, 2023 was given as a possible update date at the beginning of the season. (Steam season end). In patch 44 there will be other changes: New cryptids, new events, new rewards etc. See: Upcoming changes in the `Once in a blue moon` update on 06/13/2023 / patch 44 .
A content update appears once a quarter. Patch 44 is the 2nd quarter. So for Atlantic City that leaves Q3 or Q4.
We will find out with high probability whether it will be the 3rd quarter after the release of patch 44 and the subsequent new PTS opening with the upcoming content for the following update. I would currently bet on the 3rd quarter.
Update: There's a hint in the Xbox Games Showcase Extended 2023 that Atlantic City isn't coming until "next year". So Atlantic City is coming out in 2024. Let's hope for the first quarter of 2024.

What is Atlantic City?
Atlantic City is an expedition . So much has already been announced . Of course, we don't yet know exactly what needs to be done there. There are a few things to see in the trailer though. You see a casino and a foggy port city reminiscent of Far Harbor (Fallout 4) . You also see a creature that could be some kind of water or swamp monster.
