New Event: Dangerous Pastimes (All Rewards)
In the Skyline Valley Update (June 2024) with the map expansion in southern Appalachia to Shenandoah National Park, a lot of new things await you. One of them is a new public event called "Dangerous Pastimes". The event takes place in the Thunder Mountain Substation TM-03 in the northeast of Skyline Valley. There we help some settlers to conduct dangerous experiments with lightning harvesters at the substation.
Event Sequence
First, you speak to the settlers in the building at the substation via an intercom. They will then explain to you what you have to do in the event.
Then you walk around the outer area of the substation in a circle and collect all the lightning harvester parts. You then bring the parts together to the middle to the lightning harvester. In the process, numerous Lost will come your way, which can cause heavy energy damage in close combat. Many of them also spawn on the street, so it makes sense for someone to position themselves on the wall by the street and have the Lost already there.
At the end of the event, a huge legendary hermit crab named "thunder crab" with 3* spawns as the final boss.
