All about the Event: Beasts of Burden
“Beasts of Burden” was introduced with the Patch 44 update on June 20, 2023. It is a public event, so it rotates with the other public events and starts on the hour, 20 minutes past and 40 minutes past. It's all about the Blue Ridge Caravan Company, as is the New Event: Safe and Sound. The event takes place in the newly designed Sacramental Glade in Cranberry Bog. Here the name hasn't changed, but the place has been converted from an abandoned Mirelurk nest to a cultist camp. These cultists stole cargo from the Blue Ridge Caravan Company in a trade gone wrong and hid it here. The players' task is to help Luca Costa of the Blue Ridge Caravan Company retrieve the stolen cargo from this cultist camp before his father Vinny Costa finds out about it. At the end of the event you will meet the new cryptid Ogua.
After a trade deal goes wrong, Luca Costa finds himself in need of some help. A group of local Cultists has stolen his Brahmin and cargo of makeshift explosives. His Uncle Vinny will not be happy if he catches wind of it.
Be extra careful not to disturb the local wildlife, however, as Cultists have recently noticed strange rumblings in the woods nearby.
Location: Sacramental Glade
Until Patch 44, the Sacramental Glade was just a deserted place where Mirelurks in particular felt at home. There you would always find a few Mirelurks, a Mirelurk Queen and a Mirelurk King. After patch 44, Sacramental Glade is now a new cultist camp where the cultists hide the stolen cargo from the Blue Ridge Caravan Company in the "Beast of Burden" event. There are several treehouses and cabins on the trees, connected to each other with hanging bridges and stands. There is a shack in the middle. The camp is lit with candles and torches everywhere.
Event Process
After arriving at the Sacramental Glade parking lot, Luca is waiting for us there to start the event after a briefing.
Next, players need to run over to the Cultist Camp and collect Luca's Explosives (8 pieces) from the "Cultist Sanctifiers". These are stronger than normal cultists, wear power armor and are armed with flamethrowers or Melee Weapons. You also have to expect to get by without a sneak bonus, as the cultists have increased perception during the event and hiding as a command build doesn't work like that.
Now attach Luca's explosives to all the marked doors of the stable in the middle and to the cabins and tree houses around the outside.
After the doors are open, the goal is to get the stolen cargo from all the cabins and treehouses within 5 minutes and load it onto the Brahmin, who are standing in the shack in the middle. 20 cargo need to be taken out of the cabins and treehouses and strapped onto the Brahmins. This can be very tight alone, but 3 or more players are good.
End Phase: Ogua Spawn
After the Brahmin are packed, the final phase of the event begins and the cryptid Ogua spawns under a treehouse next to the shack. The Ogua must now be defeated within 4 minutes to successfully complete the event.
Like the Blue Devil, the Ogua also has a special ability. He can curl up under his shell and become invulnerable. It then stays rolled up for a few seconds. He randomly uses this ability every now and then throughout the fight.
When the Ogua is defeated, the event is successfully completed.

Legendary Crafting of Holy Fire and Elders Mark
The Holy Fire and Elders Mark are very popular in the community. This is due to the hidden perk "Cursed" (+15% damage, +20% faster attack speed, -4 durability), as well as the ability to roll new legendary perks on it, as well as the fact that these rewards can be traded.
If you roll the Holy Fire and Elders Mark weapons at a weapon workbench with new legendary perks, the cursed perk and of course the skin of the weapons will always remain. They are still tradable. Accordingly, really good variations of these weapons can be created with new legendary effects. The only disadvantage: the weapons cannot be repainted.

Conclusion
The “Beasts of Burden” event is also a good addition and I like it even better than the Safe and Sound event. I like the look of the cryptid Ogua and the way it moves. However, I would like him to be a bigger challenge than he has been on the PTS so far. His protective shell helps him survive a little longer, but I would have expected a little more from such an impressive cryptid. Nevertheless, I find the event challenging because you really have to do a lot to fulfill the goals if the event is not exactly overcrowded. The flow is also coherent and the context and the background story fit together well. I also like the new weapons, especially the "Holy Fire" and the "Ogua Gauntlet". The Holy Fire can be played very well with the standard perks, but can be rollen with any legendary effect. I will then roll the Ogua Gauntlet on my melee fighter until I get a usable bloodstained version. The skin and the +20% damage perk are retained. This is possible with most unique name weapons from patch 44.
