Incredibly, a new Nuclear Winter-style expedition has been discovered in the game files! The new The PITT Expedition called "Poke the Beehive" hides a PvP expedition. This expedition takes place in a new area in The PITT.
After you start the expedition, the loading screen functions similarly to the lobby in the Nuclear Winter Vault back then. Here the system looks for a suitable opponent team with the same number of members to compete against each other.
There is another fire burning around the expedition area. The fire increases every minute as you try to eliminate the enemy team. You mustn't get caught in the flames, otherwise you'll be dead.
When the match starts, you end up at different starting points in The PITT, just like back then, even without any equipment. Each team can then look for equipment from nearby supply crates.
In the new PvP Expedition, nuclear missile launch cases can again be found and nukes can be launched in the area.
If your team wins, you will receive rewards like in an expedition and additional PITT Points, which can earn you higher PITT ranks. 100 PITT ranks are planned, with various rewards, just like in Nuclear Winter.
